Fleetstar as a car rental company and marketer offers own specially agreed rates at wich you receive your rental car nationwide.
Our fleet conditions are valid for the long term and exclusively bookable.
You get best performance and individuality with quality & safety of renowned longstanding vehicle fleet partner.

PROCESS / USING

How to book?

Directly via the booking mask:
1 Select the rental location and rental period
2 the right vehicle offer
→ Add extras as required [Schutz&Extras] and
3 enter your details before submitting  ✓

What are the payment methods?

Selection PAY NOW
• Paying in advance with booking

Selection PAY LATER
• You’ll pay at arrival the day of pick-up.
– International credit cards are accepted

• For company-rentals as option*
– selectible from ‘Fahrzeugfilter’ (city stations)

Which (minimum) rental period to choose?

First and foremost, of course, it depends on your current needs.
If this is already fixed, select the exact duration:

★ Choose periods from at least 28-30 days (for all online offers)
Example: You book 121 days  ✓ FLEX+
Extendable to the day, or early return (after the minimum rental duration)

What do I need for rent / on pickup?

Presenting on pick-up by the driver:

  • valid driver’s license
  • Identity card (passport w/proof of address)
  • valid proof of payment (if paying on arrival is agreed)

Driving licenses from non-EU countries (exception Switzerland) are accepted if
a) no visa is entered in the passport
b) visa is entered in the passport and the customer has not been in Europe for more than 6 months at the time of rental
A driver’s license not issued in Latin script must be supplemented by an international driver’s license.

Additional drivers:
– for registration are to be presented the driver’s license by the owner

How many kilometers included?

Mileage Cars and Trucks

  • depending on the term and the vehicle offer
  • Free kilometers included are per month | per additional day
  • see details in respective offers

Is a deposit required?

A security deposit is required when paying at arrival is agreed.
Deposit amount (~300€ standard cars) will be blocked on your payment card.
Deposit will be used for extra charges (e.g. fuel missing at return, extra-mileage, etc.).
The total amount (including the rental) will be authorised on your credit card.

Additional driver

Additional persons can be entered in the rental contract as authorized drivers.
• optional bookable free of charge from 1 additional driver for all car-rentals
• Drivers’ license need to presented in original by driver

• For Trucks and other commercial vehicles, a fee will be charged
• Depending on offer and duration about 9-75€ per driver/rental

The Fleet & rates

Wide selection from Economy to Luxury of all renowned manufacturers, as well as sized trucks.
The rental vehicles are ⌀3 months young.
Fleetstar provides exclusively tariff offers based on own contract conditions. Also you will receive
the vehicle from us either directly or the fleetpartner, depending on our relationship to them.
This and long-term partnerships give you the security of already agreed benefits.

Extras / Special requests

Additional extras (e.g. add.driver, infant seat, Super Cover) can be added during the booking process.
Furthermore, additional requirements and wishes can always be agreed upon if possible.

RETURN AND END OF RENTAL

End of rental / Extension

You return the vehicle properly at the agreed end of the rental period.
If you wish to keep your vehicle, the rental period can optionally be extended.
If no separate agreements have already been made, please contact us in good time before the end of the rental period.

INSURANCE / FOREIGN TRAVEL

Cover and Protection

Rental vehicle offers includes:
✓ Liability Insurance
✓ Collision Damage (CDW,LDW) Cover limits potential vehicle damage liability to deductible.
✓ Theft Protection (TP) limits potential vehicle loss liability to deductible.

Regulations for foreign travel (crossing-border)

Border traffic:
If you are planning trips crossing border from Germany,
additional option
‘Auslandsfahrten/CrossBorder Fee’ is mandatory.
• Travel to be note

Entry restrictions must be observed.
Certain countries are completely excluded for entry.
Additional countries excluded for certain vehicles and categories.
See details in the rental requirements /terms and check existing regulations.

DURING THE TRIP ..

What to do if a warning signal lights up in the vehicle?

Check the meaning, any restrictions and contact the support.
The team will take care of quick clarification and, if necessary, a straightforward vehicle exchange.

What do I do in case of a breakdown?

Contact directly the 24/7 mobility service of the rental company. Together we will make you mobile again quickly.
You will find the contact details in the rental folder in the glove compartment of your vehicle.

What do I do in case of an accident?

First check the well-being of all passengers. Report the accident to Police and inform the rental company.
If it is no longer possible to continue driving the vehicle, your mobility protection will take care of the accident vehicle and coordinate the provision of a replacement vehicle.
