AT THE TIME OF PICKUP

Important documents

Driver’s license requirements

The main driver and all additional drivers must be able to present their
own driver’s license when picking up the rental car. Digital licenses and
photocopies are not accepted. All drivers must have held their license for
at least 12 months, depending on the vehicle categories below.
Driver’s license from non-EU countries (except Switzerland) accepted if
a) no visa is entered in the passport
b) visa is entered in the passport and the customer has not been in
Europe for more than 6 months at the time of rental. A driver’s
license not issued in Latin script must be supplemented by an
international driver’s license.

Identity card or Passport by main driver (w/or add. proof of adress)

Age /driver’s licence requirements

The minimum age for rentals is 19-21 years, from vehicle category
I** (MidSize) 21/3 years, from F** (Fullsize) 23/3 years. from P** (Premium/Luxury) 25/3 years.

INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE

Sales tax
Liability insurance for injuries or damages to person or property
outside the vehicle in the amount of at least the legal requirements.
Loss damage (LDW) or collision damage waiver (CDW) coverage. Limits potential
collision damage, scratches and bumps liability to a specified
deductible.
Theft Protection (TP) for the vehicle. Limits potential vehicle
loss liability to a specified deductible.
Kilometers total specified in the offer are included.
All local fees and Airport surcharge on application included.
Vehicle License & Environmental Fee.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE

Fuel Consumption, liquids, local road tolls, highway vignettes o.s.
Insurance coverage for personal injuries of the driver and passengers.
Traffic violation administration (tickets, speed notices) of €18-30/fine.

Cross border fee. Travel must be noted at time of booking.
After hour fee for rentals outside regular opening hours at €22, airports €32.

BOOKING OPTIONS / PAYMENT INFORMATION

Pay now (online zahlen)

When booking a prepay-rate, you pay the rent in advance soon your
booking is confirmed. In most cases we will confirm your booking
immediately to the email-address provided. If availability needs
to be checked, we will temporarily block the payment on your
credit card. As your booking is confirmed, we will inform you
and deduct the rental price from your card.
All costs incurred (e.g. missing fuel at return, additional kilometer,
agreed additions) resulting from the vehicle rental, are borne
by the rental-customer and invoiced directly from Fleetstar.
There are no payments on arrival at the pick-up desk.

Pay at desk (Bei Mietbeginn zahlen)

Payment cards accepted for presentation at the rental counter are
credit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, (Diners Club,
Discover, JCB *). Means of payment must be issued to the main driver
-valid for at least 1 months beyond agreed end of rental- subject to
acceptance only in conjunction with the PIN.
When you arrive at the rental station, a deposit will be blocked
on your payment card (additional to the rent). The regular security
deposit for passenger vehicle is 300€. Deposit will be used for
extra charges (e.g. fuel missing, extra-day, extra-mileage).

GENERELL CONDITIONS

Rebooking, Cancelation, Refund

Pre-pay rates:
• Modifications to your booking are free up to the rental day
(though new rental price may apply).
• Cancellation made at least 2 days before the rental are free,
with full refund of the prepayed amount.
• If you cancel less than 48 hours before due rental day,
minus a fee of 3days of your booked price.
– Refund made to the payment card used by your booking.
• If you fail to collect the vehicle, later collection, earlier
return*, we can not provide a refund.
– Earlier return from 40 booking days: An overpaid amount will
be repaid less a fee of 10% per day not driven.

Payment at desk:
• Modifications to your booking are free up to the the rental day
(though new rental price may apply).
• Cancellation made at least 48hrs before rental are free of charge,
less than 48hrs in advance a fee of 55 EUR will be charged.
• If you fail to collect the vehicle in due time and have not cancelled,
a fee of 185 EUR will be charged in claim.

Booking Reservation

The details of your reservation, which are listed in the booking
confirmation, together with the terms and conditions form the
contract for the booking of a vehicle with Fleetstar.
Fleetstar provides customers contract conditions and services for
agreed duration of vehicle rental. You will receive the vehicle
from us either directly or the fleetpartner, depending on our
relationship to the carrental. Agreed services remain unaffected.

EXCLUSIONS

In the event of intentional or grossly negligent causation of damage,
the claim to the agreed comprehensive coverage including theft protection.
In addition, the vehicle, or parts thereof, may not be sublet,
encumbered, pledged, relet further rented or used for e.g. motor sport purposes.
Nor may it be used for the transportation of persons for hire or against
payment (e.g. Carsharing), unless it was expressly agreed and a
corresponding permission is available.

Entry restrictions

Countries restricted for all vehicle categories: Albanien, baltic republics,
Bulgaria, Greece, Iseland, Romania, Turkye, Serbia, Montenegro, Mazedonia,
Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Moldawia, the Russian Foundation, Malta, Ucraine, Belarus and Zyprie.

For vehicles of Fullsize (F**) category and above (P**, L**) restricted
countries: Great Britain, Ireland, Italia, Croatia, Poland, Slowakie,
Slovenia, Tchechien Rep. and Hungary.
• Fees for trips abroad. To be included as mandatory extra for authorized trips – see Option -Auslandsfahrten.

Mobility Service

Technical support for the vehicle in case of impairment of the driving
ability not caused by the renter or driver. Organization of the provision of
a required replacement vehicle.

Extras

Additional driver (Zusatzfahrer)

Passenger Vehicles: Charged from €0 to specified vehicle offer,
whereby only persons noted in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.
Van/Trucks: Additionally charged at offer-specific fees and not
automatically already included in the booking price.
All drivers must be able to present their own driver’s license in original.

Reduction Excess (Super Cover)

The deductible in case of damage or theft of the vehicle, can be
optionally reduced to €0,00. From categorie Premium and Minibus
a named deductible may remain depending on the offer.
The inclusion of the Online-offer can only be made with the
vehicle booking, possibly before the rental via Fleetstar.
Protection packages are valid only if you comply with the rental
conditions. Without validation and compensation obligations in
the case of intentional, grossly negligent causation of damage in principle.
For vans -truck rental other rates and prices apply on request.

Trips abroad (CrossBorder/Auslandsfahrten)

This option is binding to book for approved trips abroad.

One-way rentals

Possible within mainland Germany there could a additional fee
according to paylater-selection offer.
For van/-truck rental domestic with extra-fee on request only.
The return abroad for vans/trucks is excluded and not bookable.

Trailer hitch / AHK

On request and available for selected vehicle groups under consideration of required towing capacity.
