GENERAL

Fleetstar / Rental Company

Fleetstar provides agreed rate conditions at which you pick up the rental car from rental company.
In cooperation with renowned car-rental companies as contractual partners, you rent quality and safety permanently at the best Fleetstar-rate.

Flexible & Best-Price Guaranteed

1. Your confirmed total price is guaranteed on pick up and without additional costs.

2. If you still want to keep your vehicle at the agreed expiration, the rental period can be adjusted.
Simply continue driving at your same price per day after the rental extension.

3. Return earlier at any time and simply end the rental. Rental days not driven are no longer charged and expire.
Long-term rates after 26 days minimum holding period.

PROCESS / USING

How to pick up the car?

Rental and vehicle provide take place at the named rental-partner station.
You rent as a customer to guaranteed FLEETSTAR RATE.

Upon pickup at the rental station, simply provide your name and, if required, your reservation number from rental company.
To be presented at pick-up*: valid driver license + identity card (passport with proof adress) + means of payment

Wich rental-time to choose?

1) From 26 days book as a monthly flat rate
2) From 31. day Accounting by additional days at 1/30 price per day
→ Stay flexible:
– After minimum holding (26 days), terminate rental at any time by returning vehicle!
– Days not driven expire and are no longer charged
– or extend to expiry on a daily or monthly basis as required

3) 01-24 days shortterm – with all driven kilometres free

How to book?

Simple and uncomplicated booking.

– Set the rental location and time with rental start and end dates
– Choose the right car-offer and add extras if you wish.
– After entering your driver data, your reservation is complete.

You can also contact us by phone.

After your booking you will receive your Reservation Confirmation from the rental company with all data at a glance.

Bookings within 24 hours to pickup will stay basically at status ‘on request’, cause we have to check availability in detail.

What are the payment methods?

– All credit cards of international credit card companies (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Discover, JCB) are accepted as means of payment, whereas all prepaid cards are not accepted.
The rental price will blocked on the credit card until charged at the end of the rental period. For long-term rentals in 30 day rhythm according to days driven.

– Discribed vehicle groups (-> ‘Leistungsdaten’) can also be rented upon presentation of a
EC-Girocard (Maestro/VPAY), limited to monthly rental period

How many kilometres are free?

short-term:

  • 01-24 days duration = all driven kilometres are free

long-term:

  • 26-30 days duration = 4.200 km free
  • up 31 days duration = ea. addítional day +140 km included  (monthly 4.200 km)
  • addítional kilometres = 0,19-0,40 Euro (see ->’Leistungdetails’ on products)

What do I need for rent?

On pick-up by the driver:

  • identity card (passport w/+ proof of address
  • valid driver license
  • proof of payment*

Driving licenses from non-EU countries (exception Switzerland) are accepted if
a) no visa is entered in the passport
b) visa is entered in the passport and the customer has not been in Europe for more than 6 months at the time of rental.
A driver’s license not issued in Latin script must be supplemented by an international driver’s license.

Regulation for deposit

As security, a deposit amount is required by the rental company.
The deposit amount is 300,00 Euro.

Additional driver

Additional persons can be entered in the rental contract as authorized drivers.
– bookable free of charge for all car offers

– trucks and other commercial vehicles plus max 50.00 Euro per rental/unit

The Rental-Fleet

The rental vehicles are ⌀3 months old.
The fleet includes various models and categories of almost all manufacturers.

Extras / special requests

Additional extras (child seats, trailer hitch, cover+) can be added in the booking process if required.
Other requirements are agreed individually.

RETURN AND END OF RENTAL

End of rental / Extension

The vehicle must be returned to the rental company at the end of the rental period as agreed in the rental contract.
If you still want to keep your vehicle, the rental period can be optionally extended by additonal days to your contract.

Term contracts with a minimum holding period can be terminated prematurely and without additional costs after 26 days by returning the vehicle.
Not driven days expire and will not be charged again.

INSURANCE / FOREIGN TRAVEL

Wich cover is included?

All offers with:
– Kraftfahrzeug-Haftpflichtversicherung
– LDW – Lost Damage Waiver – Cover with or w’out a deductable as product description

Exclusion of a deductible

Rental offers with a deductible, any excess charged by the rental company in the event of a claim can fully reimbursed with choosing extra option:
‘SB 0,00€ durch Erstattung’

Regulations for foreign travel

Border traffic: • allowed, by inclusion additional option ‘Auslandsfahrten’ incl. Emergency Management Service for 16€ per rental (one-time fee):
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Swizerland.
• allowed only with categories Economy (E***), Compact (C***,D***), Mittelklasse (I***, J***), Van (F***), Standard Bus (S***) to the following countries:
Great Britain, Ireland, Italia, Croatia, Poland, Slowakie, Slovenia Tchech Rep. and Hungary.

• for all categories blocked countries:
Albania baltic republics, Bulgaria, Greece, Iseland, Romania,Turkye, Serbia, Montenegro, Mazedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Moldawia, the Russian Foundation, Malta,Ucraine, Belarus, Zyprie.

DURING THE TRIP ..

What to do if a warning signal lights up in the vehicle?

Check the meaning, any restrictions and contact the support.
The team will take care of quick clarification and, if necessary, a straightforward vehicle exchange.

What do I do in case of a breakdown?

Contact directly the 24h mobility service of the rental company. Together we will make you mobile again quickly.
You will find the contact details in the rental folder in the glove compartment of your vehicle.

What do I do in case of an accident?

First check the well-being of all passengers. Report the accident to Police and inform the rental company.
If it is no longer possible to continue driving the vehicle, your mobility protection will take care of the accident vehicle and coordinate the provision of a replacement vehicle.
